social media

Oh, let’s sing a tune of pixels and screens,
Where fake smiles reign and vanity gleams.
Where filters hide flaws and captions deceive,
Welcome, dear friends, to the land of make-believe.

Scroll through the feed of perfect lies,
Where everyone’s living their best disguise.
But behind the facade of polished grace,
Lies a hollow void, an empty space.

Count the likes, chase the hearts,
Trading authenticity for digital arts.
But beneath the facade of followers amassed,
Lies a hunger for validation that will forever last.

In this realm of shallow dreams,
Where self-worth’s measured by glowing screens.
We sacrifice truth for fleeting fame,
In this twisted game we call the social media game.

So let’s raise a toast to the charade,
Where insecurities bloom in the masquerade.
Oh, social media, how shallow and vain,
A digital wasteland where authenticity’s slain.
