music industry

Oh, let’s sing a tune of the music industry’s plight,
Where art takes a backseat to what sells right.
They’ll churn out hits like a factory line,
But genuine expression? Oh, that’s hard to find.

It’s all about profit, not soul or passion,
They’ll turn a melody into a cash-generating fashion.
Exploiting artists like coins in a slot,
Squeezing out talent until it’s all but forgot.

But where’s the heart, the raw emotion?
Lost amidst the quest for corporate promotion.
They’ll package and sell it, a sanitized sound,
Leaving true artists buried, suffocated and bound.

Yet we’ll keep on singing, the rebels and dreamers,
For music’s not theirs, it belongs to the schemers.
We’ll reclaim our voices, our stories untold,
From the clutches of greed, where they’ve been sold.

So here’s to the real music, the ones with a spark,
Not just a product to be sold in the dark.
Let’s rise above the industry’s cynical game,
And let true artistry reclaim its rightful fame.
